The Central Susquehanna Valley Transportation (CSVT) - Susquehanna River Bridge section, included the construction of a 15-span, 4500 feet long, and 90 feet wide bridge over the West Branch of the Susquehanna River between SR 15 in Union County and SR 147 in Northumberland County. The bridge is approximately 180 feet high at its highest point above the river level. This project also included earthwork for the construction of the roadway embankment and subgrade between SR 15 and the river, and between the river and SR 147.

As a subconsultant, RIG Consulting, Inc. provided Construction Inspection services on the project through a Transportation Construction Inspector – 3. Inspection and documentation services included excavation, embankment construction, installation and maintenance of E&S control systems, construction of a boat launch parking lot, installation of sheet piling, reinforcement bar installation, formwork, and concrete testing & placement for footers, pier columns and pier caps. Additional inspection services were provided for the paving of the five mile, four-lane limited access highway.
