HISTORY
RIG Consulting, Inc. was founded in May 2005 by Sharmon Winters, to provide high-quality construction inspection and management services for transportation construction projects throughout Pennsylvania. In January 2007, RIG became certified as a Woman-Owned Business Enterprise (WBE) in Pennsylvania and the company’s services expanded to include design support.
Today, RIG has grown to nearly 100 team members and holds contracts in every PennDOT District and Central Office, and with the Pennsylvania Department of General Services, the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission, Maryland DOT Districts 2, 5 and 7, and various local and municipal clients.

PHILOSOPHY OF SAFETY
Safety is mission-critical. It's our top priority at all times. RIG’s most important assets will always be our employees and for that reason, we have a full-time Environmental, Health, & Safety Technician on staff and multiple programs dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of safety.
